Driver assistance systems intervene semi-autonomously or autonomously in the vehicle’s driving mechanisms (e.g., accelerator pedal, brakes), controls (e.g., parking/steering assist), or signaling devices, or warn the driver via appropriate human-machine interfaces in or during critical situations. Currently, most driver assistance systems are designed so that the responsibility remains with the driver (i.e., they can often “override” autonomous interventions), thus preventing the driver from being left unattended.

Based on leading computer vision technology, the ADAS-D21FWS advanced driving assistance system uses cameras to detect the road environment, including vehicles, lanes, pedestrians, traffic signs, etc., and provides early warnings when it detects potential collision hazards while driving, thus reducing collision accidents. The EWS system supports FCW, LDW, HMW, PCW, etc. The ADAS-D21FWS system can be used in almost all vehicle types.
The system can monitor vehicles ahead in real time and, if it detects a potential collision, sends warnings reminding drivers to slow down or brake.
If the vehicle does not maintain a safe distance and is too close to the vehicles in front, the system sends warnings to the driver to maintain a safe distance.
The system can monitor adjacent lanes and issue a warning as soon as the vehicle leaves the current lane without needing to adjust its turn signals.
If there is a risk of collision with pedestrians, the driver is also warned to slow down or brake.
